yesterday after work, around 6 pm, i was walking my bike up halstead near monroe on my way home from work because i was talking to my mom and i'm not very good at riding and chatting at the same time. some dude stopped at an intersection i was crossing called out kind of softly "happy friday". i stopped and turned around totally flabergasted and then realized he saw my critical mass flag on my basket. it was so cool. i yelled "happy friday to you too!"
